Memory Tag

Got this from Kim -

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog (if you have one) and leave one about you! reminisce away...

I know we have a lot of great ones, but of course I can't think of any. How about the times that your mom would hire us to clean her house for all of spring break and we always only lasted a few day.

I always remember that you were like Martha Stewart/Betty Crocker. I was always dumb founded and humbled by your craftiness, your cooking, your mothering etc etc etc the list goes on. You will always be my hero.... My example of strength, gospel dedication, wisdom, motherhood, perseverance, dutiful wife etc... you name it....Becky is IT for me.\"/ You MADE Brazil for me. Don't know what I would have done with out you and your friendship! I can't wait for the day we can see each other again!

Spring Break 1999! Disney All-Star Resort with Kelly and Jennie Granger (who just got married). Remember how all of us 17 year olds were away from home on Easter? I specifically remember taking that picture next to the Mickey mural in the Orlando airport with our "frown" faces on the day we left. How things have changed in 9 years...you're married with 3 beautiful kids (living half a world away, I might add), Kelly is going to Vet School in the fall, Jennie is married and a Doctor, and I'm married and.....well....I guess I sing and dance for a living! Sounds meager in comparison! Oh, and I'd post this question on my blog, but I don't have one! Maybe I'll join Facebook one day....

How about the first time you came to my pad in Jaguariuna, and you looked so blasted lovely with 2 wee ones - I was impressed - and within the first 3 minutes Nathan had found a glass something lying around and had broken it and cut himself with it, and you rushed to him and loved on him, getting blood al over your adorable sweater in the process... I was horrified because that sweater was so blasted pretty, but you just smiled and told me it was par for the course with boys and that if it didn't wash out later, it didn't matter. I was blown away - my mom was a nut about stains, and I was terrified of little boys, but somehow you managed to hold it all together;)

Wait, what about the Thanksgiving feast when we dressed up our babies as a pilgrim and an Indian?!?!!?

I remember walking over to your apartment to decorate Easter eggs! I remember having such a fun time! I also remember having such an easy time talking to you! We could talk about just about anything. Thanks for being such a great friend!!
