At bedtime tonight

Little Prince said the prayer:

"Dear Heavenly Father. Hey, Jesus! Please bless that we won't get any bad guys in our house. And if the bad guys come, please shake the earth so they will fall down and die. The end. Thank you. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen."

Well, then. I will sleep in peace.

Why can't we ALL say it that plainly... we're all thinking it...

Awesome. I wish he'd been at our house last night. I heard the dog bark and couldn't get back to sleep because i was just SURE I heard someone trying to break in.

A long time ago when I taught Sunbeams I had a kid that prayed every week: "Bless James Bond to get all the bad guys." That always amused me.

That is the best prayer I have ever heard.

I think his "shake the earth" plan is pretty swift. If there are any earthquakes around there tonight, you'll know you were saved from some really bad guys.

Oh, I love that prayer! I love it when my kids pray for random things. I love how he said "hey, Jesus!" like they were buddies he just saw yesterday. So cute.

What a fantastic prayer. It sounds like he is calling on the God he hears scripture stories about who intervenes for the good guys in all sorts of fantastic ways, so why not an earthquake? Super cute.

(BTW I refuse to believe this is the first time I've visited your blog. It simply cannot be. I was certain I'd dropped by a time or two, but I don't believe I have, even though zou read almost all the blogs I do!
