Mommy Monday

As mothers, we need to take the education of our children to heart.

And that includes tree-climbing.

There weren't any good trees in the immediate vicinity of our house, so we had to do some hunting. Eventually we found the perfect trees for our climbing lesson.

Got yourself a thumb sucker, do ya? Me too. Two of them. They'll be the death of me...

What kind of tree is that? It looks like an excellent climbing tree!

Isn't it funny how simple things like climbing trees and digging in the dirt are what kids really enjoy.

Careful, you're sounding a little too much like the perfect boy mom.

Love it!

When do we learn reptile catching?

What a fun tree! My kids would love playing in/on/around/under it!

My word very is "forkbus." That's a combination you don't see very often.

What a perfect "learning to climb" tree!! I loved climbing trees when I was younger and didn't weigh enough to snap the branches with my weight.

I get a bit choked up when I see little boys and Mom playing around like that. Nostalgia, you know.

That tree rocks!

And so do these pictures.

And so do YOU.

Happy (late) Mother's Day.

That has got to be the best climbing tree EVER! For newbies, anyway. Way to teach them what really matters!

I too support tree climbing, and agree on the complete awesomeness of that tree. Now where's the picture of you???

"...cuz they will not last forever. These are the days to hold on to. Cuz we won't although we'll want to."

Dang, Billy Joel just says it all, doesn't he? That song ran non-stop through my head the entire last year of our life in PR.

And how cute are those tree-climbing kids? You win. Best mom. Period.

Dude. You taught your boys to climb trees. You are so crossing over into a level of coolness I fear to ascend to.

I love Squishy's face in "See how FUN this is". I guess that's probably why you labeled it with those words!
